The Foxton Centre
Each year the Foxton Centre runs drop-ins over the Christmas period when many other services are closed.
Can you help us to make this Christmas a happier time for vulnerable, isolated or homeless people in Preston city centre?
We are holding a meeting on Wednesday, 2nd November at the Foxton Centre from 11 am for anybody interested in helping out.
The drop-ins run from 1 pm until 4 pm on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We supply a hot meal, a safe place, people to talk with and access to our pool, table tennis and other games facilities.
Volunteers with and without experience are very welcome— there is plenty to do. Previous volunteers have told us how enjoyable the work can be and how much the drop-ins are needed and welcomed by those who attend.
