GingerbreadLoaf of gingerbread

Put all dry ingredients in a bowl.

Cut Margarine and put on top

Pour boiling water over all and beat to a fluffy soft mixture

Then beat all with eggs

Pour in tins and bake for ¾ of an hour in medium oven


Rich Tea Scones

Combine dry ingredients and currants. Cut in butter, add milk and egg. Knead gently. Roll out and cut thickly.

Bake at 190° C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes. (Can brush tops with a little egg).
