Scam telephone calls— again

We have been advised that a previous item Scam Telephone Calls, supplied and used in good faith, is somewhat prone to exaggeration. Not only that, it was just plain wrong on many counts! That does not mean to say that we must be careful and aware of some of the strange phone calls we receive these days.
