As a Church and Choir, we are deeply honoured to be giving the first performance of a brand new Anthem, ‘God is Love’ by composer Andrew Carter.

Mavis and Len Fletcher commissioned Andrew to write this excellent piece for their 40th (Ruby) Wedding Anniversary earlier this year. The Choir are hard at work learning this excellent composition, which will have its World Premiere here at Fulwood on Harvest Sunday Morning, September 28th. Please make a note in your diaries.

We are very moved that Mavis and Len have honoured us in this way and we hope that the first performance of Andrew Carter’s ‘God is Love’ will be a great success. Andrew Carter, who hails from York, is well known in Choral Circles for his tuneful writing, and he has many published works in print.
