The Preston Circuit website now has an RSS feed.
RSS feeds provide an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you are interested in. Instead of you having to visit a website to see if they’ve written a new article or feature, you can use RSS feeds to get them to tell you every time they have something new.
Some of you may already use ‘News Reading’ RSS software to receive news and articles from chosen websites of interest. But for those who don’t there is advice available on how to set up and use this service on the Connexional website.
The next meeting of the district young adult’s group is on Saturday, 14th May, 7.30pm - 10.30pm and will be held at Calder Vale Methodist Chapel (Garstang Circuit).
The evening will include a walk through the Bluebell Woods, on good paths / tracks, and will incorporate a cross-between a treasure hunt and orienteering. It would be advisable to bring a waterproof and reasonable footwear! Don’t worry if it is too wet we have other plans!
For supper there will be a choice of Lancashire Hotpot or Homemade Vegetable Lasagne or House Vegetable Chilli. As usual there will be a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the supper.
If you would like to attend please could you reply to Andrew Gorst stating your food selection. Please reply by Sunday, 8th May.
Maps of the area can be found by zooming in or out as required.
Travelling south from Garstang on the A6 turn left before Bilsborrow at the red Esso garage into New Lane (this is signposted to Calder Vale).
Travelling north on the A6 from Preston go thro’ Bilsborrow and turn right immediately before the red Esso garage into New Lande (sign posted to Calder Vale).
Go along New Lane, over the motorway bridge. Turn left into Lodge Lane, travelling parallel to the motorway. At T- junction turn right into Smithy Lane. Bear left at the next two junctions, you will be on Sandholme Lane. Take the first right up Bell Lane. Turn right at the next junction into Srickens Lane. Turn right at the next junction into Clader Vale Road (sign posted). Follow the road into the village going over the bridge with the Chapel facing you. Park in the Mill Square.
There are clear sign posts on the way and it’s not as complicated as I’ve made it! Just worry if you get to Chipping!

Welcome to the Preston Methodist Circuit news area.
It is hoped that this will become your first port of call for the latest news about the Methodist Church in Preston.
If you believe your church could benefit from a blog (see the Fulwood site for a fine example) then contact me and I will set one up for you. It is truly simple to maintain a blog.
