If so why don’t you call in at Kirkham URC (Chris Hoban’s previous church) between 17^th and 19^th June.

Chris along with her friend Diane Bibby have been working for weeks on the theme Feed My Lambs to bring to life in flowers, Jesus with children around him. They are also doing the Sunday School Movement. The church is celebrating 200 years of worship. Other arrangements tell the story of Kirkham’s past industries, e.g. the railways, sail making and the flax industry. There will be a craft fair and food and drink available. There will be a rota of organists playing the organ and special services all surrounded with the perfume and delight of the flowers. There is a special service in the morning by their past minister Rev. Charles Reid from Minnesota, as well as a Songs of Praise on the Sunday. The church is on the main street in Kirkham and has parking behind, both near the Community Centre or two hours free at Morrisons. You could even do your shopping that day! What more could you ask for a perfect day out?
