London bombings
God, we share our horror, shock and anger at the news of the explosions in London.
We pray for
those who have died in the underground and on the bus; those who have survived but are physically or mentally scarred; those still waiting to hear from people they love
those who have been bereaved; those called on to go and help in the aftermath of this disaster.
God, have compassion and give peace.
The consequences of this disaster affect us all;
we pray that something new and good might come from it
to make our world a safer, more caring place.
Listening God, we call to you. Amen
