Christian Discipleship: the Methodist way
A day conference examining distinctive qualities of Methodist witness.
Saturday, 10th November at Lancaster University, in the Chaplaincy Centre, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Led by Rev David Wood and Rev David Edmondson.
All welcome: the day will be particularly helpful for anyone exploring a vocation to some form of ministry within the Methodist Church.
Anticipated programme
- 10:00 Opening Worship.
- 10:15 “The Way we Worship”
- 11:30 Coffee
- 11:45 “The Way we Work Together”
- 13:00 Lunch (please bring a packed lunch, drinks provided).
- 13:45 “The Way we Live”
- 15:00 Short break
- 15:05 Concluding worship, including Communion.
- 15:45 Cup of tea/ Departure
The day is being offered by the North Lancashire and Cumbria Districts without a fixed charge, but contributions towards expenses will be welcomed.
