Chris Hoban the purple wigged smile seller for Building Together Funds will be away for a while, but if you want any smiles or slogans Veronica Frost on 01772 717415 has kindly agreed to bring your order along to church if you call her.
There are some new expressions on the little faces and all colours are now in stock. Smiley faces 25p per strip and the slogans are 3 for 15p.
Chris Hoban the calendar girl wishes to thank everyone for their love and support throughout the whole of the calendar project.
As a parting shot, she has brought out a pamphlet called Joyfully Persistent— or how to produce a church calendar
. It is 5 A4 pages of vital information she has gleaned over the last year, which would be invaluable to anyone co-ordinating a church calendar or a calendar for any organisation.
Christine Marshall is sending out packs from the office which will include the pamphlet and a copy of the calendar. A donation in the region of £10 would be expected for these pearls of wisdom.
Please tell your friends in other churches and in different clubs that this pack exists.
Barbara Hothersall will let you know very soon how much the calendar has raised.

As you may have noticed, this website has undergone a few changes recently. One of the most significant of these changes is that anyone with internet access can now post to it.
If you would like to be able to post to the site (perhaps because you may wish to advertise an event, issue a plea for help, or whatever) simply send an email to the address at the bottom of this page. I shall then sort you out with a username and password.
As someone once said, do not be afraid. You really do not need to know anything about the internet in order to post to the site. Indeed, it’s even possible to add to the site by email.

If you know anyone who teaches in an infant school, would you ask if they have any GINN level two books (Reading Scheme) which their school could do without. Our last bag of books, sent in May, has still not arrived and it is a huge jump from level one to three.
If you do find someone, please let us know (via the address at the bottom of this page) so that we can organise how to get them here. 6 of each book, level 2 would be wonderful.

For babies, pre-school children and their carers!
We would be delighted if you could join us for our Pram Service. It is a fortnightly, child-friendly time for babies and pre-school children lasting around half an hour.
We aim to meet in a relaxed environment where children are free to play and chatter. We always sing a few nursery rhymes and some Christian songs. The minister usually leads us in thinking about issues concerning ourselves or the world around us, closing with a prayer.
For more information (or persuasion to come along!) please contact: Wendy Bennett— 01772 718741 (Church Office)
