Building Together on Palm Sunday

Forthcoming events

Moor Park fun run

We are organising a sponsored 5km run and a 3 km run / walk around the park on Saturday, 29th April. Registration and sponsor forms are available from either Barbara Hothersall (01772 716203) or from the leaders of the uniformed organisations. We hope to make it a bigger event than the extremely successful one held last year. This year we will have the facilities of the pavilion on the park for toilets, changing, registration and keeping out of the wind! Tea and coffee will also be available.

The entrance fee will be £2 paid in advance or £2.50 on the day. The 3 km event will begin at 10.30 and the 5 km run at 11 am. Participants should gather on the park fifteen minutes before their event. Children under the age of nine years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Spring plant sale

This will be held on Saturday, 27th May. This year it will take place earlier in the day than usual in order to fit in where possible with the arrangements of the Ladies Weekend activities. The sale will begin at 12 noon (at which time advance orders will also be available for collection) and will finish at 2 pm. Phil Dunnett from Ribblesdale Nursery will also be here selling plants and dispensing advice. Refreshments will be available at church, again as part of the Ladies Weekend activity.
