Thursday 30 August: FC2 KITE FLYING: From 6pm weather permitting.
Meet on the sands north of the pier at Lytham St. Anne’s – off-road car parking is available just beyond the pier.
Bring your own kite(s) – let us see how many we can get aloft!

OPEN AIR WORSHIP AT 2.30pm WITH LONGRIDGE BRASS BAND

FC2 challenge cycle ride 8th September 10am
This is a very easy, child friendly, cycle route at the Crook o Lune near Lancaster lasting approx. 1hour. It is totally flat with tarmaced and wooded paths and there will be plenty of opportunity to stop for rests. We plan to meet at church at 10am where a map will be given and route discussed. Some people are going to be coming just to walk a part of the route; we will all start in the same place and catch up at the end for a picnic or coffee. Should you need help transporting your bikes or more information please contact Allison Jarvis on 01772 713126.

MAY I CALL YOU FRIEND?
This course is designed to help Christians to consider the issues involved in sharing their faith with those of other religions. It covers six key subjects: Community action, Presence, Sharing stories, Prayer and Worship, Listening and talking of God, Conversion.
The course will run three times weekly for 6 weeks. First dates:
Wednesday 12th September and Thursday 13th September 2007.
Wednesday 7.30pm-9.2pm at Christ Church led by Alison Gilchrist
Thursday 2pm-4pm at Fulwood Methodist Church led by Peter Sheasby
Thursday 7.30pm-9.30pm St James Church, Knowsley St, off Avenham Lane, led by Alison Gilchrist.

Craft Fair Poster

The annual Arts and Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, 13^th October from 10.30 – 3.00 at church.

Come along to enter the competitions (download the entry form here) or the raffle, watch the demonstrations or simply to enjoy the refreshments.
