Building Together at the end of September

The September Cake and Produce Stall raised £43.60. Thanks to all who baked and brought. As usual, we could have sold more so please continue to bring the cakes (even if you haven’t signed the list in the corridor). The next two sales are on October 7th and November 4th. Thank you to Katy for another £27.41 from her baking for network Rail.

Ann’s Swedish meal was wonderful. 40 or so folk sat down to a splendid meal last Sunday and the fantastic sum of £342.00 was raised. We are very grateful to Ann for all her hard work and to both her and Wesley for their generosity. Thanks also to Judith, Joyce, Dot, Susan(our young visitor from Roumania), Myrtle, Veronica and Wesley for helping serve and wash up and generally make themselves very useful. It was a very pleasant occasion and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our thanks to Richard Holyfield who has sold another car and thus brought in another £50.00. Well done!

There are still copies of the Summer Quiz available for £1.00. The winner will receive £10.00. If you need a copy please see Barbara or Joan after church.

This takes place towards the end of the month. Our Beaver Leader, Anne Conchie is bravely taking part. There is a list for sponsorship on the Fund Raising notice board in the corridor. Anne is running for the Development Fund. Please give her support by signing the form. Thank you.
