Building Together in October

Susan’s jewellery sale brought in £26.00 which was excellant. She is returning to Roumania this week to continue her studies and we wish her a safe return. Anne ran the Great North Run Half Marathon in two hours, twenty minutes and fourteen seconds. Our congratulations to her. If you have signed the sponsor form in the Corridor you can give your money to Barbara Hothersall, Joan Hardman, Veronica Frost or any of the Fund raising Group.

Today there is the October cake and produce Stall in the Hall after service.

Arts and crafts fair and competition

Saturday, 13th october from 10.30am to 3.00pm. There will be lots to buy etc.,(see the flyer that was publiashed last week).Admission (which includes a drink) £1.00 for adults and children get in free.Refreshments and lunches will be served. There is still time to enter the competition (entry forms on the table in the Church Porch). For information contact Veronica (tel 717410) or Edna (tel 718800)

Winter pansy sale

Saturday 20th October 1.00pm to 3.00pmin the Hall where there will be pansies and violas in tubs, baskets and trays. Phil Dunnett from Ribblesdale nurseries will be on hand with plants for sale and to give advice.

June Baker singers

Saturday 3rd november in the Church commencing at 7,30pm. Tickets £5.00 are on sale in the Hall after service. This choir was originally called “Singing for Pleasure” and they have entertained us before. There will be tea/coffee and biscuits.

Cake and home produce stall

Sunday 4th November in the Hall after service.

Pamper night

Wednesday 14th November in the Hall and Parlour commencing at 8.00pm. There will be demonstrations and beauty products for sale. More detailed information will be available soon.
